Job Description
Anthropic is seeking a Policy Counsel to support public policy and legal initiatives at the intersection of AI technology and regulation. The role will involve navigating emerging policy challenges, building and advocating for frameworks that promote responsible AI development, and working cross-functionally with technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a JD, at least 3 years of relevant legal experience, and a strong interest in AI/ML policy, data privacy, and technology regulation.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred)
  • at least 3 years of relevant legal experience
  • strong interest in AI/ML policy, data privacy, copyright, technology regulation, or related areas
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • outstanding written and verbal communication skills
