Role OverviewThe Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the facility to ensure a safe and professional working environment. This position supports daily operations by performing general custodial duties throughout the shop floor, offices, restrooms, and common areas while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
What You Will Do
Clean and sanitize restrooms, maintain the cleanliness of the shop floor, offices, hallways, and common areas, empty trash and recycling containers, operate cleaning equipment, and perform other general housekeeping duties.
Why It Might Be a Fit
No previous experience required; training will be provided. Must have reliable transportation to the West Babylon facility. Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment following training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required
- Must have reliable transportation to the West Babylon facility
- Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment following training
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies as required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)
