Role OverviewAs a Portfolio Manager for Flexport Capital, you will own the full lifecycle of the Capital customer base, growing exposures as businesses grow and right sizing when they do not. You will lead a team of Account Managers to do this at scale. This is a senior commercial leadership role that requires strategic retention and collections when necessary.
What You Will Do
You will own North American Flexport Capital clients, consistently connecting with C-Suite executives and serving as a customer advocate. You will maximize revenue per customer by identifying opportunities for credit line increases, utilization improvement, and cross-selling into additional Capital products.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You should have experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, or specialty finance, with at least 2 years of team management experience. You will be expected to lead enforcement conversations, make judgment calls on distressed accounts, and partner with Credit and Legal.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, fintech lending, specialty finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of team management experience
- Portfolio ownership and management experience

- Operational rigor and ability to build systems and playbooks
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Claude, and other data tools
