Portfolio/RIVER Data Architect

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Data Architect to design, implement, and manage the organization’s data architecture and strategy. The Data Architect will be responsible for ensuring data assets are structured, accessible, secure, and aligned with business and mission goals.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement data architecture strategies, design conceptual, logical, and physical data models, architect data integration solutions, establish data governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

This role requires 5+ years of demonstrated experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management, as well as experience with data modeling tools, relational and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and data platforms and integration tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management
• Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, Enterprise Architect, PowerDesigner)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Snowflake)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and associated services (e.g., S3, RDS, RedShift, Glue, Lambda)
• Experience with data platforms and integration tools (e.g., Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, NiFi)
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and performant data architectures
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
