Job Description
Duke University School of Medicine is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE to join the Computational Immunobiology Postdoctoral Associate Position with the Dr. Williams team. This position involves developing new vaccine strategies, particularly in areas like HIV-1 vaccine formulation, using computational approaches to understand host immune responses and optimize therapeutic candidates. The project utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and collaborates with experienced scientists in a supportive research environment.

Requirements

  • PhD in Immunology, Data Science and/or related fields.
  • MD/PhD with molecular biology research experience.
  • Experience with analyzing omics data.
  • Familiarity or direct experience with analysis of 10x Genomics data sets.
  • Writing experience (manuscripts, grants, abstracts).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and learn quickly.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an interactive team environment.
  • Understand and comply with all safety standards and procedures.
