Job Description
Role Overview

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (Chamanzar Lab) on Ultrasound-assisted Optical Coherence Tomography design and instrumentation. The postdoc researcher will work with a large interdisciplinary team to demonstrate and translate devices to practical medical applications.

What You Will Do

Simulation and design of optical imaging systems and piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers using ray tracing and the finite element method (FEM). Implementation of the imaging system; and characterization of these systems in artificial and real tissue.
