Role OverviewAs a PostgreSQL Database Developer, you will build and maintain queries, stored procedures, and views on Amazon Aurora, working with DynamoDB, S3, and Apache Iceberg tables. You will work on a modern relational platform, writing stored procedures and views that hold up, and grow toward owning physical design. The work is real, hard, and it matters, and you will be part of a high-performing team of developers, engineers, data scientists, architects, and strategists solving complex, real-world problems.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include building reliable SQL, stored procedures, and views on Amazon Aurora, working with DynamoDB, S3, and Apache Iceberg tables, and turning raw data into something people can use. You will also work on query tuning, S3 data loads into the platform stores, and connectivity, all under governed access.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will be a fit for this role if you are a builder who likes SQL and cares about getting data right, and you are early enough in your path to grow fast, and hungry enough to want to own more. You should be able to experiment, fail, learn, and repeat quickly, and prefer to own an outcome rather than be handed a task.
