Job Description
HDR is seeking an experienced Power Mechanical Engineer to join their Missouri-based Power Generation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying power generation fluid systems, including steam, condensate, fuel gas, cooling water, compressed air, and similar systems. The role will involve working with a multi-discipline team, communicating with engineers and designers from other disciplines, and mentoring younger engineers. The position will require travel for site surveys, technical conferences, client meetings, and monitoring of construction.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
  • Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software
