Job Description
The Journeyman Power Shop Mechanic is responsible for the service and repair of all vehicles and heavy equipment with a special emphasis on RTG's for all Stevedore/Terminal operations in a timely efficient manner. This includes removal/replacement/troubleshooting of electrical systems, air conditioning systems, and diagnostic systems.

Requirements

  • Two years of related schooling or seven years of applicable experience
  • Membership in the IAM Union and adherence to the IAM Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Current EPA cards and field-related tools
  • TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card)
  • Valid US Driver's License
