Role OverviewReporting to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager, the Clinical Practice Nurse 1 delivers high quality patient care, including assessment, treatment, planning, and care evaluation. The nurse uses knowledge of growth and development over the life span to assess clinical data and identify patient requirements. The nurse engages in caring relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, and works collaboratively with the health care team.
What You Will Do
Establishes priorities, triages patient phone calls, administers prescribed medications, provides education to patients, documents health information, and delegates patient care activities. The nurse applies principles of purposeful thinking to make sound clinical judgment and decisions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a multi-disciplinary staff, patients, and others. The nurse will work in a 4-day work week environment and be required to lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- New Hampshire Board of Nursing license
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers
