Job Description
Practice Support Assistant I is responsible for phone coverage, scheduling, greeting patients, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves improving clinical operations through coordination of contact between team clinicians, patients, and referrals outside the unit.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Associate's degree or graduate of certification in medical office administration program preferred
  • One year of experience in a clinical or customer service setting
  • Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Electronic medical record (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR
