Role OverviewAssist in conducting intensified learning experiences for students in assigned area and relieve certified teacher of various tasks that are primarily non-instructional in nature. Assist teacher and students in achieving the objectives of the program or activities. Maintain discipline in the absence of the teacher.
What You Will Do
Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow-up learning activities. Help students with their daily work and in finding activities appropriate for their homework. Review class activities and daily homework. Supervise class breakfast and lunch activities.

Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position. Must have one year of experience working with children. Demonstrated general knowledge of child growth/development and behavior characteristics. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Requirements
- Accredited Senior High School Diploma or equivalent
- Paraprofessional certificate required from State Board of Certification
- One year of experience working with children
