Role OverviewAssist a certified teacher in a pre-K classroom, providing support with intensified learning experiences, discipline, and student activities. The role requires a paraprofessional certificate, a year of experience working with children, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
What You Will Do
Conduct learning experiences, maintain discipline, tutor students, and assist with daily work and homework. You will also review class activities, supervise breakfast and lunch, and communicate with parents.

Requirements
- Accredited Senior High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or 48 college credit hours
- Pass an academic assessment
- Paraprofessional certificate from State Board of Certification
- One year of experience working with children
- Demonstrated general knowledge of child growth/development and behavior characteristics
- Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse ethnic groups
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to follow verbal and written instructions
- Demonstrated effective communication skills in both oral and written form
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
