We are hiring a Pre-K Childcare Lead for our Before and After School Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals, ensuring the safety and engagement of children, and providing exceptional care. The role requires a positive, friendly demeanor, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field.
  • Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience).
  • 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience).
  • Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis (TB).
  • Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and team members.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
  • Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.
