Role OverviewHealthy Kids Programs is hiring a Pre-K Lead Teacher for our Before and After School Programs at DB Bunce Elementary School. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar. The ideal candidate loves working with children, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
What You Will Do
The Pre-K Lead Teacher will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field
- Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience)
- 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience)
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
