Role Overview

The Pre-k Lead Teacher will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also support program operations, observe state guidelines, and host school policies.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field
  • Child Development Associate Credential or another Office-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period (with 1 year of experience)
  • 9 Credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to Associates or other Office recognized credential (with 2 years of experience)
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
