Role OverviewWe are hiring a Pre-K Teacher Assistant for our UPK Program at Central Elementary School in Larchmont, NY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, be energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoy encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The role is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities will include working under the direction of the Lead Teacher to support and carry out lesson plans, classroom activities, and daily routines. You will assist with implementing learning activities, support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and maintain a clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in education or related field preferred
