Role Overview

The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher works as part of a team to ensure the coordination of quality programs for 3 to 5-year-old children in the Children and Youth Development and Education Department. This is a 10-month position.

What You Will Do

Coordinate daily, developmentally appropriate activities, implement curriculum, conduct assessments, and maintain compliance with PA health and safety standards for childcare programs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and Pre-K to 4 certification from an accredited college or university in early childhood education or child development.
  • Act 33/34 clearances, fingerprinting, National Sex Offender Registry Clearance, and criminal background checks as well as Mandated Reporter.
