Role OverviewWe are hiring a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for our UPK Program at Chappaqua Central School District for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, helping them learn through play and positive experiences, and encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The teacher will work in a supportive classroom environment with clear curriculum structure and district alignment.
What You Will Do
The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher will implement the Creative Curriculum with fidelity, plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with NYS Early Learning Standards, and support early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development through play-based learning.

Requirements
- Valid NYS Early Childhood Teaching Certification (Birth–2, N–6, Pre-K–6) or Bachelor’s with approved 5-Year Plan
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Experience with preschool-age children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
