The Preauthorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining authorizations for procedures performed at the diagnostic centers, coordinating scheduling, and interacting with patients, physicians, and staff.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • General understanding of Radiology procedures
  • Familiarity with Medical terminology (CPT and ICD-9)
  • Familiarity with computers and other office equipment
