Role Overview

Lead daily shop operations to ensure prefabrication assemblies are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Supervise shop teams, coordinate workflow and materials, enforce safety and quality requirements, and communicate closely with the General Foreman, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and project teams.

What You Will Do

Lead and supervise prefab shop personnel, communicate daily work plans, assign and monitor work tasks, enforce safety policies, inspect tools and equipment, review prefab drawings and spools, and manage materials and logistics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' commercial electrical experience as a Journeyman
  • Experience leading crews
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting prefab drawings and spool sheets
  • Working knowledge of electrical prefab methods and applicable codes (e.g., NEC)
  • Hands-on experience using shop tools, equipment, and prefab production processes
  • Active IBEW member in good standing or willingness to join
  • Basic computer skills with Bluebeam and Microsoft 365
