Role OverviewThe Prehospital Quality Specialist supports the integration and continuous improvement of patient care across the prehospital and hospital environments. This position serves as a clinical liaison between emergency medical services (EMS) and other clinical stakeholders to promote seamless transitions of care, enhance communication, and support high-quality patient outcomes.

The Prehospital Quality Specialist will review prehospital care data, identify trends, and implement feedback mechanisms that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The role also requires advanced clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, data analysis capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed Paramedic in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- 5+ years related clinical work experience
- Strong understanding of prehospital protocols, trauma systems, and emergency care operations
- Stop the Bleed certification
- QI/PI experience (preferred)
- Experience working with local officials, municipalities, and state OEMS system (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to change as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, be resourceful and work independently with minimal supervision
