Job Description
The Mechanic III is responsible for parts fabrication and material movement in a safe manner and ensuring the quality of parts, while demonstrating BAC’s values of Earning Trust, Embracing Responsibility, Showing Courage, and Driving Innovation.

Requirements

  • Owns personal and team safety.
  • Assists Senior Mechanics to complete fabricated parts in a safe and quality conscious manner.
  • Performs material kitting function, proficiently operates the shear and performs shear preventive maintenance.
  • Assists changing dies and CNC tooling.
  • Performs function of the drop off rack associated with focus on scrap reduction.
  • Helps keep equipment in good operating condition.
  • Meets daily production goals as assigned by the Team Leader or Station Leader.
  • Replenishes supplies and other consumables.
  • Actively learns all skills necessary to become a world class mechanic.
  • Follows all safety requirements regarding tools and PPE.
  • Actively acquires skills and ability to support the highest quality standards.
  • Flexes to other areas as needed demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to team success.
  • Performs all other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
