Job Description
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprints and production specifications. This role ensures precision, quality control, and adherence to safety standards while meeting daily production goals.

Requirements

  • Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings
  • Measure and verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards
  • Make machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Load and position metal sheets or components onto the machine
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and wear required PPE
