Role OverviewAs a Pricing Actuary at Akur8, you will be a subject matter expert and translator between various teams and the 'language' of insurance, actuaries, and clients. You will lead proof of concepts with potential clients, assist clients in diagnosing misalignments, and identify creative approaches to use Akur8 features.
What You Will Do
You will contribute to white papers, present at conferences or webinars, and establish Akur8's leadership in the United States and other markets. You will also travel for approximately 5 working days per month for teambuilding trips, industry conferences, and onsite client meetings.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a P&C / General insurance pricing role
- Broad insurance industry knowledge, including ISO products / ISO ERC
- Demonstrated experience recommending and filing rates
- Hands-on experience in actuarial ratemaking and rate deployment
- Ability to understand insurance business imperatives and translate them into practical, software-driven solutions
- Curiosity and ability to quickly understand prospects' and clients' ratemaking processes
- Ability to present ratemaking analyses and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
- Basic understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning techniques for predictive modeling
- Willingness and ability to travel for approximately one week per month
- Native or near-native fluency in English
