Role Overview

The Primary Aluminum Trader is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of customers and suppliers within the primary aluminum market. This role combines business development, account management, commodity trading, and market analysis to drive profitable growth while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do

Develop and manage a portfolio of customers purchasing primary aluminum products, including ingots, billets, sow, and other primary forms. Build long-term B2B relationships with manufacturers, extruders, foundries, distributors, and industrial customers.

Requirements

  • Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing customer accounts
  • Understanding of international trade, logistics, freight, and supply chain operations
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate commodity market trends and pricing risks
