Role OverviewAvaMed Workforce is seeking a Primary Care Physician to work at a correctional facility in Chowchilla, CA. The physician will provide medical services to patients under the direction of the Institution/Facility CEO/CME or designee.
What You Will Do
The Primary Care Physician will provide high-quality services, adhere to medical staff by-laws, and comply with universal infection control precautions. They will also perform clinical reviews and participate in Professional Practice Committee activities.

This is a full-time assignment with a rate of $220/hr ($8,800/weekly) as 1099. The ideal candidate will be Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Boarded and have experience working in a correctional facility setting.
Requirements
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Boarded
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm OR Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
- Orientation 2 weeks, must be flexible
