Role Overview

The Department of Social Services is seeking a Principal Administrative Associate III to perform specialized administrative tasks relating to the provision of guidance, problem solving, and project control connecting to the Career Services Programs. The successful candidate will act as the 'Office Manager' for the Deputy Commissioner and the Executive Office staff, maintaining liaison with Career Services and the Office of the Chief Program Officer staff to ensure operational efficiency for Employment Services activities.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will perform tasks such as ordering supplies, coordinating maintenance of equipment issues, organizing employee recognition and other events, maintaining folders for Time and Leave, acting as Human Resources liaison for the Executive Office, and processing requests for visitor access to 4 WTC via the COVE app.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
  • One year of experience in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to the above requirements
