Role OverviewThe Principal DevOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining large-scale on-premises cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions. The core focus of this role is the lifecycle management of containerized environments and infrastructure automation.
What You Will Do
Deploying, maintaining, and managing the lifecycle of on-premise cloud clusters, managing and scaling enterprise Kubernetes clusters, deploying applications and services using Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators, and utilizing Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with virtualization technologies, Linux and/or Windows Server system administration, scripting languages, cloud and virtualization, container orchestration, Kubernetes deployments, automation, CI/CD, and OS administration.
Requirements
- Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience
