At Evident, we deliver optical technology that pushes the limits of scientific discovery. As the Principal Field Service Engineer, you will serve as the highest-level technical authority and strategic lead for Evident’s digital pathology scanner portfolio in the Western United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10–12+ years of progressive engineering experience
  • Expertise in Linux OS (command line, scripting, and system admin)
  • Mastery of optical physics, high-speed robotics, and micrometer-scale precision alignment
  • Deep understanding of network security, HL7/DICOM protocols, and server-client architectures
  • Compliance: Expert knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA medical device regulations, and biomedical safety principles
