Role Overview

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance. This position will be located in San Diego, CA. The Principal Financial Analyst will perform performance measurement baseline (PMB) monitoring, analyze the Estimate to Complete (ETC), and prepare internal and external status reports.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: performing EAC assessments of subcontracts and general procurement material, analyzing and preparing reports to ensure program contracts are within negotiated parameters, and supporting monthly/quarterly financial reporting and planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related fields OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related fields.
  • Experience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
