The Principal FP&A Analyst will serve as a trusted business partner to the VP of Finance and executive leadership team, driving strategic financial planning and supporting data-driven decision making across the company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, building financial models, influencing business decisions, and creating scalable planning processes that enable the company's next stage of growth.

What You Will Do

The successful Principal FP&A Analyst will be responsible for leading the company's annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning, building and maintaining dynamic financial models, partnering with department leaders to develop budgets, and preparing monthly executive reporting packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or related finance roles
  • Experience supporting executive leadership in a high-growth startup or rapidly scaling business
  • Demonstrated success leading company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of marketplace business models and unit economics is preferred
  • Experience building executive dashboards, board presentations, and KPI reporting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
  • Experience with financial planning systems, ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools
