Job Description
Principal Investigator (Archaeologist) responsible for scheduling and managing projects, conducting research, and overseeing Phase I-III archaeological work in Texas and surrounding states.

Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Masters Degree from an accredited school in anthropology or a closely related field
  • 5+ years of experience (CRM experience preferred)
  • At least 3 years of leadership positions
  • Ability to obtain a Texas Antiquities Permit
  • Regional (Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana) experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology
  • Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I-III fieldwork
