Job Description
SEARCH is seeking a Principal Investigator to support projects in the Southwest region of the United States. This role involves managing archaeological projects, preparing technical reports, conducting field work, and collaborating with team members. The position requires expertise in cultural resource management and is full-time, salaried, or remote based on the candidate's preference.

Requirements

  • Background in cultural resource management.
  • Experience managing archaeological projects.
  • Expertise in state and federal laws governing cultural resources.
  • Strong Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, and/or New Mexico archaeological experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to support projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cultural resource studies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrated client management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Eligible for agency permitting.
  • Strong technical writing skillset.
  • Good understanding of project management.
