Principal Material Cost Analyst

Join Northrop Grumman's team as a Principal Material Cost Analyst, providing assistance and guidance to support the implementation of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Managers (CAMs). This role requires a self-motivated employee to work in a fast-paced environment, with a thorough understanding of EVMS and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess leadership/team skills, and be able to communicate unique problems and recommend potential business/process solutions.

What You Will Do

Develop and review material EACs, ensure alignment with purchase orders for Major Subs and IWOs, assist CAMs for EVMS activities, and support monthly cost and schedule reviews. Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work, and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and/or industry related field
• Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and/or industry related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable period
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM)
