Principal Process Development Engineer responsible for leading-edge metalworking development projects, process improvement, and training programs in a global manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Investigate and recommend new metalworking processes
  • Identify best practices for existing metalworking processes
  • Serve as project leader or key technical contributor on major metalworking-related projects
  • Develop and optimize CNC turning and milling processes
  • Develop and optimize centerless and non-centerless grinding processes
  • Troubleshoot complex machining and grinding issues
  • Develop training programs and support plant personnel
  • Follow JTEKT quality gate systems
  • Travel to JTEKT manufacturing plants and suppliers
