Job Description
Join Amgen's Mission of Serving Patients, Principal Scientist - Computational Biology & Translational AI (Oncology Precision Medicine) in South San Francisco, California, or Thousand Oaks, California. Develop AI-enabled translational systems, integrate clinical, biological, and multi-modal data through modern Generative and Agentic AI to drive forward and reverse translational insight and decision-grade impact. Build and maintain AI-enabled, reproducible translational analysis pipelines, including integration with agentic systems and automated insight-generation workflows. Represent CfTI in Amgen program and portfolio teams as a translational science and AI thought leader, contributing AI-enabled forward and reverse translational insight across assets.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree, PhD, PharmD or MD and 2 years of computational Biology experience
  • OR Master's degree and 5 years of computational Biology experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree and 7 years of computational Biology experience
