Role OverviewWe are seeking a Principal Engineer to own the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for Amazon's Translation Services. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills and a demonstrated ability to optimize, develop, launch, and maintain large-scale production systems.
What You Will Do
As a Principal Engineer, you will work closely with business partners, applied scientists, software development engineers, and product managers to accelerate building solutions to expand translation capabilities. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy and will be responsible for designing solutions for translating billions of words annually across multiple and expanding set of locales.

Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
