Role Overview

Designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and improves customer-facing software solutions using test automation tools and frameworks, Angular.js, React.js, Node.js, and HTML. Builds, debugs, tests, and supports web applications, applying server-side and mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies.

What You Will Do

Participates in architecture design teams, defines and implements application-level architecture, develops applications on complex projects, recommends development testing tools and methodologies, and reviews and validates test plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, or a closely related field
  • five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer developing and securing web applications and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in a customer-facing web application development environment
  • demonstrated expertise in architecting, designing, and building Web and public facing applications using JavaScript frameworks
  • automating end-to-end workflows and defining and building API integrations using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), AWS S3, and configuring network routes
  • implementing, testing, and debugging highly scaled, secure Agile planning platforms services according to Agile methodologies using Java, Message Queues (MQ), Modern API based microservice architecture, and Spring Boot
  • contributing to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle and developing Cloud migration techniques
  • applying DevOps principles by performing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployments (CI/CD) (using Jenkins) and administering source code repository (BitBucket, GitHub, or GitLab)
