Role OverviewThe Principal Software Engineer role on the Xbox Media Engineering team involves building high-scale backend systems for Advertising using the latest technologies. The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to empower groundbreaking mobile advertising technologies to create the next generation of the Publisher Ads Platform.
What You Will Do
The Principal Software Engineer will own engineering outcomes for org-critical systems, platforms, or technical domains, define long-term technical direction, build and maintain alignment around technical direction, create mechanisms to improve delivery, reliability, and learning, guide sequencing and risk management, develop Staff-level engineers, and lead organization-wide technical standards.

- Proven experience developing senior engineers and emerging technical leaders
