Role Overview

As a Principal Solution Architect, you will serve as the senior technical authority responsible for defining the future state architecture, design standards, and technology strategy for enterprise networking platforms across hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments. You will lead the development of scalable, secure, resilient, and highly automated networking solutions that support AT&T's most critical business applications and infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include defining and leading the enterprise networking architecture strategy, developing reusable network patterns, and driving the evolution of networking platforms to improve service resiliency and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of expert-level experience designing and architecting large-scale enterprise networking environments
  • Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud networking architectures
  • Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies, network protocols, and control plane design
  • Experience with software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, and infrastructure automation
  • Advanced understanding of network security architecture and secure-by-design principles
  • Proven experience designing highly available, resilient, and scalable network solutions for mission-critical environments
  • Experience building networking strategies that support infrastructure consolidation, service resiliency, and operational excellence initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking services across major public cloud platforms
  • Experience with automation, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
  • Understanding of large-scale distributed systems and the networking requirements that support them
  • Demonstrated ability to establish enterprise standards, architectural governance processes, and technology roadmaps
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders
