Role OverviewAs a Principal Solutions Architect, you will lead enterprise-wide architecture strategy and drive modernization across a complex, high-volume healthcare ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, translating strategic initiatives into scalable, future-state solutions that improve performance, integration, and user experience.
What You Will Do
You will partner closely with business leaders, product teams, and engineering organizations to design and deliver solutions that support mission-critical capabilities—particularly within claims and payment processing across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business.

Requirements
- 15+ years of experience across software engineering, architecture, and enterprise delivery
- 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect designing enterprise-scale, distributed systems
- Proven experience with event-driven architecture, APIs, and microservices in high-volume transactional environments
- Strong experience designing solutions across complex integration ecosystems (50+ applications, 250+ integrations)
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into architectural solutions, including system impact analysis and business process modeling
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and integration tools (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, DB2, DataStage, IIB, ODM)
- 5+ years of experience architecting solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience defining and validating non-functional requirements (scalability, resilience, performance, observability)
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
