Role OverviewVanderbilt Health is the region's largest comprehensive academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics. The Principal Sourcing Officer provides leadership in ensuring all approved products are purchased under cost-effective contracts, identifying and coordinating opportunities for contracting of new and existing equipment, supplies, and services.
What You Will Do
Manage existing contracts and supplier relations for complex areas and products. Negotiate complex contracts for continued cost savings and reliability, perform financial analysis and needs assessment for purchases, identify cost savings opportunities using benchmarking data, and communicate purchasing strategies to buyers.
