Role OverviewJoin Northrop Grumman's team in Huntsville, AL to support the IBCS program as a Principal/Sr Principal Quality Engineer. This full-time on-site position will work with the Quality and Mission Assurance Team to ensure products and services meet or exceed customer requirements and promote mission success.
What You Will Do
Review and extract quality assurance requirements from documentation, establish and implement program mission assurance plans, and support the Quality Management System. You will also interpret mission assurance requirements, ensure compliance with contract and industry requirements, and provide oversight into discrepancy review and failure investigations.

This role requires a strong understanding of mission assurance fundamental principles, practices, and theories, as well as experience with Quality Management Systems, Root Cause and Corrective Action process, and industry standards such as ASME Y14 series standard and AWS D1.1. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field
- 5-8 years of related experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Understanding of risk management principles
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
