Role Overview

Join AT&T and help shape the future of communications and technology that connect the world. This role requires a minimum of 5 days of office presence per week and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia, or Plano, Texas. As a Principal Tech Product Manager, you'll set the technical product vision, translate customer and business needs into clear roadmaps, and partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software outcomes.

What You Will Do

Own a prioritized product domain, aligning strategy and execution across Product, Architecture, Engineering, and business partners. Define product vision, strategy, and success metrics informed by customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights. Lead end-to-end delivery by managing backlogs, trade-offs, timelines, and cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience delivering software products
  • Strong technical fluency: able to collaborate deeply with Engineers/Architects and make informed trade-offs
  • Proven ability to own a product domain and drive strategy, roadmap, and execution with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams or product lines
  • Expertise writing high-quality epics/features/user stories and defining measurable outcomes (KPIs/OKRs)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and aligning competing priorities
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management in a fast-paced environment
  • MS/MA in Computer Science (or similar) preferred; relevant certifications a plus/required in some areas
