Job Description
Set up, adjust, and operate various printing machines containing cutting heads, control surfaces, and attachments. Inspect equipment for safety issues and work with crew to maintain production quality, safety, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of printing machine setup, adjustment, and procedures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors
  • Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units)
  • Ability to use standard and specialized tools to adjust and maintain machines
  • Skill in making difficult adjustments to powered machines using hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret written work instructions
