Job Description
Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that molded product is brought from the warehouse staging area to the proper machine on time and that finished product is removed and taken to the wrapping machine. They are also responsible for maintaining Walkie and conducting daily checks, unloading molded product, loading printed product onto skids, and performing housekeeping and 5S duties.

Requirements

  • Properly maintain Walkie and ensure daily checks are conducted and Check sheets appropriately logged
  • Physically moving the molded product from warehouse staging area and delivering it to the appropriate printing machine
  • Unloading molded product and loading printed product onto skids following the designated route
  • Physically moving the finished printed product from printing to the warehouse wrapper area and loading on wrapper
  • Removing Rag barrels from machine area to warehouse staging area for transportation
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities and training
  • Housekeeping and 5S duties
  • Performing quality checks on outgoing pallets
  • Responding to Andon Lights and performing line clearance
  • Escalating any maintenance issue in regard to equipment
