Role OverviewTradeweb is seeking a mid-level Compliance Officer with expertise in data privacy, privacy by design, and AI governance to lead the organization's efforts in embedding privacy and privacy-related AI practices across business operations.
What You Will Do
Serve as a subject matter expert on global data protection frameworks, embed privacy by design and by default principles into systems and processes, lead and advise on Data Protection Impact Assessments, and review and draft data-sharing agreements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; JD, CIPP/E, CIPM, or other recognized privacy certifications preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or related regulatory/legal roles
- Proven expertise in privacy by design implementation and privacy risk assessments
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR and global privacy laws, plus practical experience operationalizing compliance programs
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, algorithmic risk management, and regulatory standards around automated decision-making
