Job Description

Manages a team that provides operational support for all Private banking loan originations and portfolio management support.

Requirements

Manage three distinct functions supporting Private Banking activities
Partner with the business to keep a pulse on the way the team can optimally support the business
Review and approve daily department reports to ensure compliance with operational, security, and audit procedures
Provide data, information, and perspective related to lending activities to contribute to strategic planning and short-term initiatives
Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
Promote an environment that supports a culture of belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
