Job Description
Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in our KeyBank communities. The Private Client Banker (PCB) is part of the Key Private Client Program and will focus on the entire client relationship with a plan-based approach to financial advice.

Requirements

  • Embodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and realizing the impact we can have on their day, personally, professionally, and financially.
  • Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and provide effective and customized financial wellness recommendations to clients;
  • Consistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals and expectations.
  • Builds a client referral pipeline via identification and development of internal and external centers of influence;
  • Employs a disciplined approach to prospecting; documents calling efforts.
  • Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of private client products and services, as well as knowledge of competitive products and services to ensure meaningful in-depth financial wellness conversations with clients.
  • Opening personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small business, various deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending, certificates of deposit, etc.).
  • Developing strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business partners through in-person meetings– focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship of current clients;
  • Ensuring compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures and policies including appropriate documentation of client interactions.
  • Support of branch operations including assisting with client transactions on the Teller line as needed.
  • Participate in and occasionally facilitate in-person morning huddles and end of day debriefs.
  • Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
